Fort Lauderdale, Florida. — June 14, 2018 — The Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA, www.imcusa.org) announces that its 2018 annual international consulting conference, “Consult-Con 2018: Fearless Consulting in Disruptive Times” (www.imcusaconference.org), takes place on October 5-7, 2018, at the San Diego Marriott Mission Hills in San Diego, California.
A diverse line-up of keynote speakers will provide thought leadership on management consulting methodologies and skill development, business development and consulting practice management. Keynote speakers include author and former FBI Special Agent John Iannarelli, neurohumorist and TEDx speaker Karyn Buxman, best-selling author Tony Alessandra, disruption expert John Furth, client relations expert and Vistage chair Patty Vogan, and proposal strategy expert Dez Thornton. According to Conference Chair Henry DeVries, “This year’s conference marks IMC USA’s 50th Anniversary and a time in which consultants and their clients are experiencing disruption in their industries due to increased online competition, the faster pace of technology change and the digitization of business. The Conference includes three workshops, several breakout sessions, three general sessions, an interactive Q&A session called The Talk Show, networking with other consultants, and exhibits of various technologies, tools and methodologies geared to consultants. Workshops include topics on Speaking, Professional Development and using Sprints to innovate faster. The international annual IMC USA conference is attended by individual consultants, consultants from small to mid-size firms, internal consultants, executive coaches and mentors, consultants with specialties such as IT, HR, marketing and finance. While the majority of the attendees are established consultants, the conference also attracts many prospective and new consultants.
